This wedding was extra special for me because Monroe is a close friend of mine. To be a part of their day as their photographer was an absolute honor and joy!
I’ve known Monroe since childhood. He used to be my little brother’s friend with a great sense of humor, always having some big or funny story to tell. In the past few years, Monroe and I have become close friends as well and I’ve realized there’s more strength and depth to his character than I’d always given him credit for. He’s been there for me during my hard times, always ready to encourage me to keep going. And as I was listening to his friends’ speeches at the reception, I heard similar stories from them. Monroe has the softest and most caring heart; he’s fierce and loyal, encouraging and kind.
And while I don’t know Brooklyn as well as Monroe, I’ve seen how she’s bringing out the best in him and I couldn’t be happier for them!
And now, on to the pictures! Monroe & Brooklyn wanted to take some time between the ceremony and reception to get pictures of just the two of them, and I was thrilled! That just-married glow and energy simply hits different. Scroll down to see what I mean!
Megan, you did an awesome job! The pictures are beautiful!
