This was one of those weddings that I especially looked forward to because I had met Cecilia’s family last year when I photographed her brother’s wedding. There’s no greater honor for a photographer than to be invited back to capture another family member’s wedding.
Speaking of which, Leeroy and Cecilia have the sweetest family and friends. I already experienced that at Cecilia’s brother’s wedding and this time was no different. Everyone involved in the wedding was so kind and down to earth and it added a special warmth to the day.
When I exclaimed over the wedding decor, Leeroy’s mom told me that Cecilia has a talent for making things pretty. Cecilia knew what she wanted for her wedding and the family set up all the decorations themselves. The soft and romantic details were a beautiful expression of her gentle, graceful and feminine nature.
Leeroy and Cecilia’s love for music permeated their day. From the orchestra playing during the processional, to the couple leading out in a congregational song, to more choir songs and a surprise song that Leeroy and his siblings sang for Cecilia at the reception, the day was enriched with beautiful music.
All in all, it was a day overflowing with beauty, kindness and joy!
