Where to start with this wedding? It was such a fun day of celebration and the best way to end my 2025 wedding season. Corny and Anna, you make being young and in love look so fun and effortless! It’s obvious how much you love each other and I’m just so happy for you guys! Your day was marked with much love, thoughtfulness, intention and kindness; it was truly a blessing to be part of it!
Anna is a photographer herself (go check her out on Instagram ) and she second shoots for me every now and then. The other day when she was riding with me to a wedding, she was excitedly sharing details of her own wedding. She also couldn’t stop talking about Corny and how he fully supports her photography dreams and gets excited for her every time she books a session or wedding. And as I got to interact with Corny on their wedding day, I saw firsthand how thoughtful and kind he is. On the morning of their wedding day, he surprised her with a little book filled with pictures and memories of the two of them. It was the sweetest thing! The way he looks at Anna with so much love and adoration in his eyes is just precious! Anna, you know you hit the jackpot, right?
There were so many special moments and details during the day, so I’ll share just some of my favorites:
- Anna did a first look with all of her sisters, sisters-in-law and nieces. They were all so excited about it! There were moments of laughter and joy, as well as some silent tears.
- Anna’s fur shawl. Absolutely love the cozy, wintery vibe it added to their pictures!
- During the ceremony, Corny and Anna’s entire families came up for the prayer of blessing. I have yet to see families who are more supportive and excited than theirs were.
- Anna gave all of her past students designated seats for the ceremony and took pictures with them afterwards. It’s obvious that she’s good with kids and knows how to make them feel special.
- While they invited over 300 people to their ceremony, Corny and Anna chose to have a very small reception with just their families and closest friends present. They wrote personalized notes on all the name cards. I can’t stop thinking about how sweet that is!
- They had their reception in an old barn with walls made of mud and rocks. It definitely made for a unique venue!
- Golden hour portraits. Guys, I was very nearly screaming with delight about these golden hour photos! I’m pretty sure the light was just a touch more magical than usual!
- After Corny and Anna did their first dance, they opened it up for all the couples to join them for a slow dance. Talk about a romantic evening!
